Schnauzi said we could get another puppy...

...and here he is!

Meet 'Wolfi', an 11-week old miniature schnauzer. He is a happy, bright, and very loving little creature.
He eats three puppy meals a day, 'goes' outside (or not), plays wildly and loves his carrier where he sleeps through the night.
But man, are those little teeth sharp! Every time we tell him, "No biting!", he thinks he is being praised. Perhaps I'll try his native language, "Nicht beissen!" Nope. That doesn't work either. Oh well.

I'm not very good at photographing him yet. He is an incredibly wiggly 11-week old.

Boy, do I have to correct myself! He is TWELVE WEEKS old. What was I thinking?! He's definitely a tiny puppy, and I have to apologize for the misinformation as his sharp puppy teeth are nibbling on my toes.

SO cute! I just want to pick that little guy up and snuggle him. And I know what you mean about those sharp puppy teeth....Darby just lost the last of her little razor ones...I was very happy about that. :)

Everything going well for you? You taking it easy?

Yes, I am taking it easy, frugalmom -- apparently too easy to be careful with numbers!

Farmer Jen, do you still think he is cute now that you know his REAL age?

Oh what a cutie! Has Miss Roxy been introduced yet? Isn't it funny how having a new puppy in the house brings back the memories of having a newborn. LITTLE SLEEP.

He is adorable! I just love all the fun and joy a new puppy or a kitten brings to the home. I hope you survive the chewing stage with all your fingers and toes intact :)

I am glad you cleared up his age. I was thinking that 12 months was awful old to still have his sharp puppy teeth...not to mention that he looks 12 weeks...not months.
I am glad you got another puupy. He is adorable.

Welcome, Wolfi!!! You little whipper snapper, you... :-)

What a sweetie pie he is. His paws are way too big for the rest of his body, which makes him look like he's padding around the house in giant fuzzy slippers. Needle sharp teeth have pierced my fingers, ankles and toes, but his sweet puppy breath makes every nip tolerable. :-)
Poor Roxy...she's used to being the young pup. I still have to get used to that little-old-lady looks she's getting on her face now whenever "the youngster" is around.
So glad you're here, Wolfi!! ♥ ♥ ♥

Oh I thought of something since in my former life I was a dog trainer. A good way to correct puppy biting is yelp like a puppy when the puppy bites you. Loud! Now that's a language Wolfie will understand. He learned that from his littermates.
